James graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 1995 with a BA (Hons) in Editorial and Documentary photography. After a spell of assisting advertising and commercial photographers in London, James has concentrated his talents with photographing people. He has worked for several magazines as an editiorial, fashion and portrait photography and combined with his precise eye for detail, it was a natural progression to concentrate on lifestyle wedding and portrait photography.
	James combines a relaxed, informal style with the utmost professionalism and has an extraordinary eye for composition, detail and mood, making shoots seem effortless and fun whilst producing extraordinarily beautiful and honest images.
